Update !!

Last update of the week and it is important. Our editing is going great so that is something to look forward to. We are a little bit ahead of schedule which is perfect because we wish to show this to someone else just for someones else opinion.



 So far we have editing the first part of the film which is Valeria in the morning getting ready for school and putting on different outfits. But like I said last time we wanted it to flow together and not look disorganized or out of place. This forced us to go back and make certain shots shorter and better cuts. Everything began to come together.



O and Sophie might have spoiled it already but we found the song in which we are finally going to use for our film. After many many different songs being heard we chose Perfect day by Hoju.



We thought it really fit into our film and the character we are trying to create. Especially Valeria being the shy girl with the crush.

Well that's all I got for this week hope your excited for our final master piece.

Update!!!

Well like I said last we finished our filming part of the project so, there is only one more step left in this project which is editing. This probably the most essential part because a film has many scenes and the editing portion of the process puts all those scenes together.



This is just a small example of what I am trying to explain. The are layers of sound and timing for each shot and videos which must be accounted for. Since we need to introduce our lead girl and guy actress in a short amount of time. So Sophie and I are going to make sure we really introduce the Valeria and leave my personality a mystery.



We don't want to make it like a trailer so I will be introduced, but it will be left to the audience to interpret what was given.

I' back just like I promised to update you guys.

We are finally done filming and can start editing. The last part we were having trouble on was the start and end to our film opening. We didn't just wan the start to be like any other Rom Com that simply takes a medium shot of the house of the narrator. Sophie and I were trying to think outside the box.



So Sophie and I began to think and think how we want to introduce the title and at what time. We began to think and luckily something in Sophie's garage caught our eye. She had a drone that can fly up on the air and take aerial shots.

So we decided to use the drone to take shots of Valeria's house and we decided to use that as our opening shot which is used to establish the scenery.

 Whats up guys I'm back! I hope everyone is enjoying there spring break.

Sophie and I have been working hard this week to make sure we have a perfect project.
We made sure to film certain scenes over again because we realized that certain scenes didn't match the scene before. For example a cup of milk was on the right side in one scene and on the left the other scene.


So we decided to watch the film frame by frame and then make sure that everything is still in its place. After we did that we watched on the computer to make sure everything flowed. After fixing our errors I can say we were on the verge on being finished.




But we had overcame a big issue after we re-filmed certain themes because somethings were out of place.  I will be giving you guys another progress report soon ...

Last post of the week guys I'm gonna make it count.

Sophie is flowing with ideas and all i can say is she snapped.

I need you guys to remember the story board that I posted a few weeks ago. Remember with the Picasso drawings.



Looked kinda like this, but more simple.

SO Sophie and I  sat down and began to put everything together just to see how everything is turning out and if we need to re-shoot something before we advance with anything else. Sophie had realized that the videos were turning out really slow and boring which was the opposite of what we really wanted.

    

LUCKILY I have a very intelligent partner that knows what she is doing.
Sophie thought if we just make her change into her clothes after her being indecisive and then her sitting down looking at the mirror while she puts on make up it can make it a bit more high pace. So we are gonna shoot in different angles and do a lot of cuts. We might add a song in the back round to make a flow to what is happening. Plus this can means Valeria can dance a little and create positive vibes.

Well I think its been a productive week.
